A huge part of our mission is to connect every walk of life in Brownsville with the discovery and rewards of arts & culture, especially through live music. BSPA gets our support from many sources, but the most important contributions come from members of our community who give so we can produce world-class musical events in Brownsville. Individual donations usually range from $10 to $100 (and up) all of which support BSPA's mission. Your contributions fuel music and music education in Brownsville and support musicians, from students of all ages to professionals, through BSPA’s productions. This holiday concert even provides an exceptional opportunity for retirees to participate in great music like Handels' Messiah.
